Hello! I'm Chelsea, an artist, filmmaker, and content creator.

I create films and content that explore the irreplaceable value of human creativity and what it means to craft a life of fulfillment from the inside out. My YouTube docu-series Made on Earth highlights artists and artisans who embody devotion to their craft in an age increasingly shaped by automation and AI. Through cinematic storytelling my work invites people to slow down, notice beauty, and make a masterpiece of their own lives.

Across YouTube, Instagram, and Substack, I share reflections centered on creativity, fulfillment, spirituality, and intentional living.

As the art expands, including a new podcast and continued growth of Made on Earth, I’m looking for a Creative Assistant to grow alongside me!

The Role

I'm looking for a deeply passionate, multi-talented creative who wants to do meaningful work in film and content creation. You're a diamond in the rough that is passionate about video editing, social media content, graphic design, and operational support.

Someone deeply passionate about sharing uplifting, meaningful art on social media, someone devoted to making their own life a masterpiece and bringing their dreams to fruition. You’re excited by conversations around creativity, fulfillment, spirituality, and intentional living. You are hardworking in the truest sense, devoted, disciplined, and trustworthy — yet led by joy. You feel creatively inspired by the mission and genuinely aligned with this niche of creators. You’re excited not just to assist, but to ideate, to grow, and to help expand this work thoughtfully.

5–10 hours per week to start, with a flexible schedule and occasional collaboration windows. Los Angeles is strongly preferred, but I am open to candidates in other locations. Fluent English is required. Start date: ASAP, beginning with a 2-week paid trial period to ensure mutual alignment and fit.

Responsibilities

As a creative assistant, you will be my right hand person in supporting the growth of my work across multiple platforms. This role wears many hats, but is generally to:

• Edit podcast episodes in premiere pro (gentle cuts, pacing refinement)

• Pull and subtitle social media clips (Descript proficiency or willingness to learn)

• Eventually oversee an editor in the podcast editing process

• Create YouTube thumbnails in Photoshop

• Ideate and help develop Instagram Reels

• Assist with applying to film festivals and grants for Made on Earth

• Support sponsorship outreach and brand partnership coordination

• Collaborate on creative ideation to expand the Made on Earth series

• Admin support as needed

Bonus (not required, but potential growth opportunity):

• Interest in filming or learning more about on-set production

• Desire to be more deeply involved in the filmmaking process over time

Skills & Qualifications

As mentioned, the strongest qualification is a true alignment and resonance with sharing art that deeply touches and inspires the hearts of others. Passion about creativity, following our joy, and living an intentional/fulfilled life is essential. Some technical essentials:

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (basic podcast editing & clips)

• Proficient in Photoshop (strong design eye)

• Strong instinct for video editing, pacing, and storytelling

• Graphic design sensibility aligned with cinematic, poetic aesthetics

• Strong copywriting instincts (hooks, captions, titles)

• Organized, communicative, and self-directed

• Completely trustworthy and honest

• Passion for content within the creativity/spirituality/intentional living niche

Must have:

• Own laptop capable of large handling 4K video files

• Active Adobe subscription

• Reliable internet connection

Growth Opportunity

As the brand expands, this role can evolve, with increased hours and deeper involvement in the creative process.

This is for someone who sees this not just as a job, but as an apprenticeship in building meaningful creative work.

Compensation

• $21/hour

• 5–10 hours per week to start

• Contractor role (1099)

• Remote (Los Angeles is a bonus)
